Meet Roshni

Roshni Bhogaita is my right hand, and is key to the smooth running of my consultancy. She'll be the first person that you’ll see or speak to when you reach out, and is here to make you feel comfortable, to help and to be on your side.

  • Simply email us on info@drdakshahirani.com or call us on 07467 596697.

  • Where requested, I offer a 10-minute introductory call should you wish to determine whether I am the right therapist for you. Please contact Roshni on 07467 596697 and she will book our call together.

  • Fees for direct clients are charged at £210 per session.
For clients approved via health insurance companies, our fees depend on the contractual terms with each insurer.

  • My sessions are 50 minutes long and held on the hour between 9am and 5pm GMT, Monday through Friday.

  • This will depend on your concerns and what you are aiming to get out of our work together. Some people come to see me with a specific goal in mind and may require as little as six sessions or fewer. Others benefit from ongoing support requiring more sessions.

  • All my sessions are offered online and, for now, I am unable to offer face-to-face sessions.

  • We require a minimum of 48 working hours’ notice should you need to cancel your appointment. This allows us time to offer your appointment slot to one of our waiting list clients. Unfortunately, sessions cancelled within the 48-hour period are still payable in full.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Yes, where suitable, I occasionally offer 1:1 sessions to adolescents who are 15 years and above. I do not work with younger clients.

  • Yes, I do offer couple therapy and, where appropriate and helpful, I offer joint sessions with family members when requested.

  • Yes. Informed by professional body guidelines, we require all new clients to complete our registration forms once your first appointment is booked. We request these completed forms are sent back to us at least 72 hours prior to your first appointment. This enables us to process the information in time for your appointment.

  • I am not able to work with clients who are actively at risk of harming themselves or others. Given that I offer online psychotherapy sessions and am not set up as part of a multidisciplinary team, there are limitations to the severity of challenges I can work with.

If you have complex mental health needs, I cannot start working with you and make an ardent request that you seek help where a multidisciplinary team can see you in person.

  • We endeavour to put our clients first at all times. In the unlikely event there should be a need to settle any dispute arising out of or in connection with any of the services we provide that cannot be settled, please note the courts of England will have exclusive jurisdiction.

  • My office is open from 8am to 6pm GMT, Monday to Friday, for calls. Roshni, my assistant, will gladly receive your call and endeavour to answer any further questions you may have. You can contact her on info@drdakshahirani.com or call her on 07467 596697.
It will be our absolute pleasure to work with you or provide any of the services listed on our website.
We look forward to hearing from you.
